Formalism in Ethics and Non-Formal Ethics of Values. A New Attempt Toward the Foundation of an Ethical Personalism indicates, there are two parts to the 659 pages of the German original. Part I deals with the nature of values. Part II deals with the nature of the Person. Accordingly, we now set forth to make a general description of five major types of values with special attention to the relation they have to time.
