Oneness is a challenge for a new vision, which likewise unifies spiritual wisdom with precise knowledge. Regarding especially the process of the individuation of the Divine, I will focus on the universal (^cAql al-Kullî) reason in the structure of knowledge in the opus of Ikhwan as-Safa and the Logos of Life in the philosophy of Anna-Teresa Tymieniecka. It shall be argued that with Ikhwan as-Safa the individuation of the principle of life found its earliest encyclopedic expression.
